Exhibitions

Our exhibitions are rooted in traditional practices of exchanging skills, knowledge, and understanding by the riverside and are thoughtfully crafted for museums, galleries, and art markets. These exhibitions are an extension of our voice, denoted by the quality of sweet voice that is characteristic of our riverside community. Please take a look at our upcoming exhibitions to get a sense of the stories we create for immersive story-adaptive environments. Dolphin Head Story Bridge: Quintennial Exhibition
Dolphin Head Story Bridge: Quintennial Exhibition, the inaugural edition of this five-year celebration, marks a revival of an endangered practice of story gathering—a craft not seen since 1994. Presented in partnership with Dolphin Head Annex, this exhibition will feature visual portraits and photo essays from the Dolphin Head Story Bridge platform, celebrating the families and stories that have emerged from our 2024-2029 Dry Season Storytelling Tour editions. Each story is a thread in the vibrant tapestry of our community, and this exhibition aims to weave these threads into a narrative that honors our past while looking forward to our future. It is a celebration of the publication of new stories featured on the platform, a culmination of years worth of storytelling that enriches and empowers local indigenous communities. By restoring this practice, we also revive the trading routes abroad, presenting a piece of our heritage to the world. This exhibition is not just a display; it is a reclamation of voice and a restoration of a vital cultural artery that sustains our community.
